It happened on my one month anniversary. I threw up several times when I first started trying to eat, mainly because I was eating TOO SOON. I wasn't hungry, but I really wanted to eat food! This lasted about 2 weeks, and hasn't happened in a while. Total times probably 10- 15. I am a slow learner. > 4. Are you exercising? I walk more and I do some water aroebics. Ask me this again in a month! > 5. Has your food intake changed? What kinds of foods are you craving? I can tolerate a lot of different things in very small amounts. Somethimes I think I want more, but when I start eating I am fine with a little. > 6. How is your mood since surgery? Have you experienced any depression > since > surgery? If so, are you taking medication to help you through it? > I have been on Effexor for years for depression. I have stayed on it afterwards. I did notice an increase in depression, but I have turned the corner (I hope) this week and feel MUCH better. > 7. Approximately how much weight have you lost? As long as I keep losing, I don't care how long it takes. My fear is that I only have a year to lose, if it keeps up for longer than that I really don't care, as long as it comes off! > 8. Would you choose the MGB procedure, or a different procedure? > In a heart beat I would do it again, and ONLY the MGB. I think it is the safest method.
