Guest guest
Hello ya'll... I am going to new dermatologist tomorrow for relief from number one dermatologist. In my bag I am bringing all the medicines #1 dermotolgist has given me over the years. Here is the list: Carmol (Scalp Treatment,) Hydrocortisone and Iodoquinol Cream, Hydrocortisone Lotion (2.5%,) Nizoral Cream (2%,) Elidel, and Clindamycin phosphate topical solution. This would be in addition to the many steroid (?) shots, sun lamp treatments and bouts of Nizoral, etc. Since my rosacea/seb/derm has taken a turn for the worse, has gotton more sensitive, and reacts to almost anything the last 2 months or so, I have decided to try a new doc (recommended to me by my PCP.) My question would be here to those (obviously) more knowledeble than me............. What should I be asking the doctor about regarding his knowledge of this stuff, and what tip-offs would I get from him that he may not be sending me down the right road? I am suffering (right now) from a major reaction, and just want to calm this stuff back down to normal, yet I don't want to keep going on all these rounds of stuff that may be making my condition worse in the long run. Anyway, all suggestions welcome, Sal Sessa Dallas, TX USA
