Guest guest
Hi Sheila, thank you for responding! Yes, I agree, 7 days is early and I think I need to be patient. I gave my daughter prune juice today because even though she is really feeling a lot better, no belly pain but still no bm's on her own. This makes me nervous that she's still has a lot of fecal matter in there. My son seems to be doing really well though. I have a question about the yogurt, do you make it? Does everyone make it because it's the very best for good bacteria vs. the plain, no sugar, all the right cultures store bought? As you can see I am still learning a lot, just truly feel blessed I have found out about this diet! Thanks again, , mom to JD and Shandi SCD two weeks! I make it according to the recipe in the book Breaking the Vicious Cycle (BTVC). I make 4 L (~ 4 quarts) at a time because we use quite a bit in my house. >Does everyone make it because it's the very best for good bacteria vs. the plain, no sugar, all the right cultures store bought? Yes, because you'll get far more good bacteria than storebought yogurt, it will have no SCD illegals and because it has the correct *safe* bacterial cultures.
