Guest guest
Hi Sandy, > We are on day 7 of what I thought was SCD but the more I read I > wounder. I have seen on this forum the 'introd. diet' mentioned but > had not found it until today. We did not start that way. I have > just been fixing foods that are on the legal list that I thought my > kids might eat. We have been doing eggs, scrambles, and muffins > (SCD)for breakfast. The kids have been eating apple, banana, > applesause, crack and peal egg(hard boiled egg), cheese (SCD), SCD > cookies or muffins for snack. This is how I started the diet, I just added in SCD legal items. > I guess I have been more concerned with finding things that everyone > would eat than a spacific regimen. > Non of us have had diarrea. You can keep doing as you are doing, but if you kids aren't progressing as you feel they should be or run into problems you can back up to more easier to digest foods and gradually add in more complex foods. For your daughter's constipation please check out these links at: http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/ Go to the " Knowledge Base " and then to 1. " Constipation " and 2. " Constipation continued please see > I have not found dry curd cot. cheese as yet but am still checking > out different stores. I can't get DCCC anywhere locally, so i use dripped yogurt as a substitute. One of these days I plan on making my own DCCC. I finally made sauerkraut, so i am gradually going through my list of things to do. Sheila, SCD 59 mos, 22 yrs UC mom of and
