Guest guest Posted June 29, 2000 Report Share Posted June 29, 2000 , Today I start my assault on bcbs of al! Dr. R's office faxed my letter for pre authorization last Thursday. I called Tues and they asked me to wait until Thursday because it usually took 1 week for it to get on the system. Today I start calling and calling and calling! How long did you say it had been since your letter went to them? I work for a doctors office and I call bcbs of al all day long because that is what I do! The girls there are all so polite. But last Tues when I called...it was uuuuuhhhh! we can't talk to you about your own account. you have to call this phone # blah, blah, blah! I'm afraid it is a sign of things to come! Anyway I thought I would give them the time that the asked for but today is a week. So the fun begins... I am so ready for this surgery to happen, but I am kinda glad its gonna be mid summer.
