Guest guest
, I use it and love it. Try putting on a few drops when your face is wet. It really helps retain the moisture. Good Luck, Donna
Guest guest
I had an allergic reaction to Vita-Oil, which is no reason you shouldn't try it. It works for so many people on this board. My suggestion is to try it out on a small patch of skin for several weeks (I do this near my ear so any allergic reaction I get is not visible in the middle of my face) and if you do not have a problem there, then it is probably " safe " to use it all over your face. Vita-Oil Has anybody had any trouble using Vita-Oil? It seems that I've read that many people seem to like it. I'm almost afraid to use it. I can't afford to start up another flare, but my skin is so flaky that I really need some moisterizer. Any thoughts? Guest guest
I have been using Dr. Sy's Vita Oil for more than a year and it's one product I've stuck with through my search for help with rosacea. I can't say that it's toned down my redness much (this is my main symptom) but my skin always FEELS good and I rarely get papules, pustules or flaking anymore. I wash my face with Dr. Sy's cleansing gel, rinse with lukewarm-cool water, then pat my face dry a bit. I apply two drops of oil to each side of my face and massage it in for a minute. It looks oily for only a few minutes then sinks in and lasts all day. I am 42 and developing some lovely crow's feet but I truly feel they'd be worse without the Vita Oil. It's the first moisturizer I've ever been able to use without causing breakouts. My skin has been oily forever and even at 40, I wasn't using moisturizer, but I figured out that I really needed it and my skin texture is much nicer than it used to be. The great thing about Dr. Sy is her willingness to provide sample sizes of her products, so you don't have much to lose by trying a small vial of Vita Oil or Zinc-O. Think of all the money we've wasted on full-size products that caused bad skin reactions -- depressing. I was so happy to start with inexpensive sample sizes of Dr. Sy's products to be sure they were going to work for me. Heidi Heidi
