You are so well informed. You don't know how upset I have been the last few

days about all of this. I Knew it was not Dr.R's fault but had know idea of

what was going on except for what I got from Barbara the other day, she told

me it was to expensive that the staples used in one surgery cost twohundred

dollars per cartridge and twenty are used per surgery.I was also told that

they hope to be able to start back in Nov. that seems so far away. She also

said I could still send my packet in,but I'm going to make copies just in

case it get lost between now and then. I wonder if they will start a list

for us caughtup in this mess. Kinda a first come first serve thing or those

who are most in need of the surgery, I don't know just something to keep our

spirits up.

I gotta go Storm here.

thanks again,

Tonie

Does anyone know if the hospital would change there mind at all, if some of

the medacaid patients could pay something towards this??? whether it is $50

or even $200..or $1000,.or even make a payment plan....I myself would pay

something down,,,, and make small monthly payments towards the costs of the

staples,,if that is what the hospital is so upset about....all they need to

do is talk with us,,,and let us all come up with a solution to this..the sad

thing is hospitals do get alot of free funding from all different

organizations,,,for things like this....michelle
