You cannot take accutane with tetracycline antiobiotics (which includes

doxcycline & minocycline) because the combo can increase fluid in the

brain. You can, however, take accutane with such antibiotics as

zithromax & erythromycin. I have taken accutane with both zithromax and

erythromycin.

I am also doing low-dose accutane (15mg per day) and V-beam at the same

time. My derm (who is one of the leading laser derms in the country)

has assured me that it is perfectly safe, and I have experienced no side

effects.

My feeling is that it is probably safe to do photoderm and very-low dose

accutane at the same time, but doctors differ on this.

Low-dose accutane and V-beam is working very well for me.
