Guest guest
I'm doing fine now, . Don't worry! It may not have even been MGB related. My 7 year old had tummy pains for two days, also. He most certainly didn't have the surgery! It was lovely to meet you, and I hope we'll meet again in August at Flo's house. Love, Amy. _____________________________________________ Amy S. Poe MGB 5/22/2000 *I made it!* 280/251/140 United Healthcare Select Plus POS approved Mid-Atlantic Support Group Thanks to Amy P. and all at her house for the support group meeting this weekend. I really enjoyed meeting everyone. Amy and her husband were very gracious hosts. I kept a close eye on the post-ops to see how much they could eat -- and I was greatly encouraged! Except now Amy doesn't feel good -- I hope you're doing better, Amy. I've been waiting since 12/99 when I first learned about the MGB for my new insurance to go into effect on 7/1/00 and, GOOD GRIEF, it's now! Time for me to move into action. Is the doctor putting you on something else or what? 32 lbs is great, Flo, congratulations! I remember you asking " Do you really think we won't need the arthritis medication post-op? " If I stop hurting, I'll be one happy camper!
Guest guest
: The dr. prescribed a combi-patch. She said that I will have to replace it twice a week and move it every two days around my mid section. I haven't tried it yet, just picked it up from the drug store and they had to special order it. It's a 3-month supply just like my other was...but change it twice a week. yuk...and she said I may bleed that it's one of the side affects..yuk to that too. It is so cool to go up steps like a normal person. And even cooler to go down one right after the other, not step on one step with both feet...so embarassing before..now I feel like a normal person (OK, so mentally I'm not..) I'm so excited for you. This is just so cool to be melting and feeling good. My jeans are big on me before I felt like a sausage. LOL...just the greatest feeling! Your turn! Flo Hobart wrote: > > > Hey ! > > > > Go girl!
