Hi Kim,

My infant uses td-dmsa and td-glutithione as well. Her skin reacted very badly

to the original base of the creams (although I don't remember what the original

base was). After that, the pharmacy changed the base to emu oil. She has not

had any reaction to that base.

If you are even slightly concerned, I would request that they change the base

(make sure they don't change it to something soy either). It is probably better

to be safe than sorry. Getting on the right track in the first place is a lot

easier than back-tracking and having to recover.

Thanks everyone for replying to my post.

I live in Canada, and the compounding pharmacy that I am speaking of is in

Ontario.

I don't believe they are using this product for anyone else yet as I was the one

who pushed my doctor to get them to formulate a TD DMSA cream.

They know my child is on a strict diet so I'm not sure why lipoderm was chosen

(I was not a part of the decision on which cream base to use - I guess I

should've been). I am looking into the lipoderm situation with my doc to see if

it can be rectified.

Kim.
