Guest guest
Just me and my questions. well, it keeps me from the mirror and trying something to fix my face . LOL Anyway, earlier today, I posted about the derm who said that I had been uisng too many products on my skin, well, this brought to mind what another derm not to me, but o my familt doc in a follow up letter. To me she said that I have to use a gentle cleanser ( yep, Cetaphil or Dove Soap ) and a moisturizer called Moisturel. Anyway, she wrote to my family doc that I had been uisng too many cosmetics and had inflammed my skin and that I should start a very simple gentle skinc care and to wash gently, not to scrub and to moisturize. I know that if I were correcting this as one of my student's papers, then I would slam them for incoherency but. I remember asking my MOM about a history of red skin. She could not recall. She is 85 and does not have a blotch on her face. Not a single broken capillary. She did say that sometimes her face feels a little warm and irritated, then she washes with some soap and puts on a " nice drop of moisturizer " Believe me, it ain't LaMEr either. Proably Vaseline body lotion or Jergens hand lotion.A nd the soap could be Palmolive or whatever was on special at the store that week. I have no idea why this is important, but I am wondering if my previous post about the overuse of cosmetis, skin care ahs really done a number on my skin. I guess it does not matter how the rosacea got started. ( rememeber the 10 or so scenarios Dr. NAse outlined , maybe in his book, which I don't have, yet ) about one incident bringing on the rosacea form those prone to have it. Anyway, just thinking outloud and trying to organize my thoughts. I hope that this sort of rambling is okay to post. If not, then would someone let me know so that I can try to be more specific. I wish that we could all sit down together over the course of a few days and have a good long discusions and a " show and tell " Thanks all
