itchy eyelids in sun..advice please?

Hi, Can any one with ocular rosacea identify with this? When it is sunny my eye

lids flare up. They itch. They swell. They go red and it can persist until I

itch the skin on my eyes open. At around the same time I can get itching on my

face and tingly on my arms etc. Does this sound like sun allergy? Can anyone

recommend an eye shadow which may cover and protect from the sun so my lids do

not swell up and itch. Does any one else have this? It only EVER happens in the

Summer. Are light reactive glasses the answer? indoors and out!?

Please, anyone with rosacea of the eyes, who can identify with this, please

write to tell me what I can do to help it. Has anyone found that the shadow is a

catalyst for a reaction with the sun. Please anyone who is or has been through

this and can shed some light on it please advise of how I can reduce it!
