Doershuk, MD, Editor Cystic Fibrosis in the 20th Century chronicles the remarkable increase in survival and quality of life seen since the description of the disease in 1938. It includes the origins and subsequent impact of the United States Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the International Cystic Fibrosis [M] Association, and the International Association of CF Adults on the natural history of the disease.
