Guest guest
Hello , In reference to your comment: è That's how I found the page that they are sending to my insurance to get the coverage for the surgery. (If they approve it I might not have to wait for so long) It showed that this procedure was invented (roux en Y) to treat 6 gastro problems and the number one ailment was Chronic Pancreatitis. The nurse took it and made copies of it to have on file in thier office... hows that for a pat on the back!! Congratulations on your research. I am glad the doctor's office made copies. I am making copies of all the websites you are finding for my friend Ruth (RN) and she is keeping a file at her office too! Thank you...two down and 1,00.... to go. I am sorry they haven't scheduled your surgery sooner. Maybe the paperwork will start moving faster. I don't understand, either, why they don't realize pain interfers alot to anyone's life. Guest guest
, think of it this way, they are trying to prevent complications from the surgery before they do it. They don't want it to bother your heart or your breathing. From what my doctors have told me (fom my surgeries), they want to make sure about the sleep apnea, because the anesthetic can depress your breathing and sleep apnea already causes that and they want to make sure they give you the right dose of medication to lessen the effect of depressed breathing. As for the heart and EKG, just making sure there are no problems before hand that may require special attention or things to do to cause the least amount of complications as possible. At least they care enough to make sure they are going to do it rigth the first time. Hope you are having a pain free day (or relatively pain free). It was great talking to you and last night in the chat room. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@... Guest guest
>!! I'm glad that you are feeling better but be careful to take it easy. I'm hating to lose summer too and because I'm always cold anyway..I have to start hunting down the sunbeams and sit in them while I can. I have to tell you that 52 is very hot here in Canada..but then we use the celcius scale and that would equal about 125F. Usesless info but it's hard for me to think of 52 as cold. Sending lots of pain free thoughts your way..{{hugz}} Tummy posted from : Anyway, I am feeling a little bit better... but still not going to push my luck. > > I hope Everyone is having an enjoyable Sunday... Its cold and rainy here today...time to break out the sweat shirts and warmer blankets. Brrrrr!!! 52 is nice but lower than that and I'll be taking my blankets to work with me!
