Greetings,

Anyone been using a topical Vitamin K product with satisfactory results? If in

fact Phytonadione (vitamin K2 source in skin creams) has a positive effect on

spider veins and redness, I'd like to add it to my regimen. Problem is, like

several on the list have noted, all the formulations I've checked have an

ingredient list that reads like the @#$%&* periodic table; even those supposedly

formulated for rosacea. It's extremely frustrating to me that these outfits

don't seem to understand that, for rosacea sufferers, less is often more; keep

it simple! If it's the 5% vitamin k that has the active effect, SPARE ME THE 47

HERBS AND SPICES!!! Phew!, thanks for letting me vent.

Anyway, I'm going to give this feedback to any " rosacea products' maker that

doesn't seem to get it and encourage others to do the same. Not surprisingly, we

all tend to react somewhat uniquely to given ingredients, so the shorter the

list of those in the product, the easier to identify the irritants. It would be

a shame not to enjoy the benefits of an effective treatment because all the

" experts " insist on mixing it in a " witches brew " of botanicals, oils, and/or

chemicals.

OK, I'm done; please do let me know of your experiences with the K products,

though.

Cheers

I have been using the Vital K Solution for Spider

Veins for about 6 weeks now and am very happy with

it. I have a lot of spider veins on my face and it

has diminished them drastically. I intend to keep

using it. It made my face slightly redder at first

but that has stopped and my face is not pleasantly

pale. It was only $12.99 through drugstore.com.

After I purchased it, I found the the other Dermal

product that someone else mentioned. They have a

website but I don't access to my bookmarks at this

moment. It is much more expensive but it also has

aloe in it which would be a soothing addition.
