question about using Fitday-Jody

Hi, I want to check my son's daily intake on Fitday. How do you add

the foods that you make yourself like the cashew muffins and the bread

that I make? Also, Fitday would only let me put the age of 13 in as

the lowest age, but my son is 8. Does that make a difference?

Thanks for the help!

Fitday gives options of selecting a raw or cooked food when you look at the

entire list

;

example: key in " green beans " and see all the choices offered.

What about the cashew butter? There isn't an option for cooked

cashew butter. Also, what about eggs in the recipe? Should I put

in hardboiled, scrambled?? Thanks! Gwen

To include homemade items, I input an entire recipe. Then, I copy

down

the calories, carbs, fat and protein. Then I divide the totals by

the

number of servings. (For example a muffin recipe that makes 12- I

would divide the totals by 12). Then I use the CREATE CUSTOM FOOD

feature and input the name of the item " Cashew Muffin " and input the

information about the calories, carbs, fat and protein into the form.
