Guest guest
is this correct?? When I wash my face, it always seems to result in flakes. these flakes are not dry skin. I do not need a heavier cleanser for dry skin. I might need something more gentle, but we'll let that one go for now. The flakes are not cause by the cleanser leaving an accumulation of dead skin and makeup The flakes are due the inflammation which could be due to the cleanser, the splashing of the water and/or the motion of the fingertips on the face. Okay, if I start using the Metrogel ( I have sebderm so I assume that my skini smore oily than dry ), will the accumulated effect be skin which is less easily inflammed . I have not been uisng any rosacea topicals for years and years since I always thought that they were only for the pimples which I don't get?? Just overall flaky, dehydrated surface. I wish that someone a long time ago had told me that a flaky surface was symptomatic of rosacea. My skin would be in much better shape in regards to the pinkness. Wish I had this group way back when I was diagnosed 12 years ago. All I hope is that it is not too late to start treating my skin better instead of trying to find a cosmetic solution. Thanks so much for all the help and advice. I will be posting to seek your guidance for the weeks and monts ahead. Take care
