Guest guest
Anybody out there.... I have insurance with BCBS (federal) and know that they pay for the surgery through North Carolina (federal) BCBS. I received a letter today (the copy of what was mailed to DR. R) stating that the company does not pre-cert this type surgery. They said something to the fact that if it was medically necessary, I should have the surgery and they would determine payment after. I am very worried about this, because they have already done this before (refused a hostipal stay because it wasn't " medically necessary " ; nevermind that I was dehydrated and felt that I was dying). Anyway, that's another story. Please, can anyone offer any suggestions. I surely don't want to be put on that usual time frame thing that insurance companies send us on so often. What can I do? Should I call Debbie Monday? DW Mississippi
