Dee, Hi my name is Liz and my daughter and I both had the MGB on 12/20/99. I

have Tricare standard in Region 1. My husband is stationed at the Submarine

Base in Groton, Ct. Tricare approved both me and my daughter surgeries in

just a couple of days. I only had to pay 25.00 for the hospital stay for both

of us. Unlike prime I did not have to have a referral from the base hospital

to have the mgb. Standard is able to use any doctor they want without a

referral from the base hospital but I did have to get preauthorization from
