Guest guest
Hi Sue. My guy also has issues with shaving cream....gets pretty wired and has some strange behaviours, and this is just from playing in it. He doesn't actually have to ingest it. I never actually researched to discover what the offending agents may have been. [hopefully i have another 10 years or so to figure it out, lol] The other thing that caused a very systemic reaction was stickers that require licking. They apparantly have gluten and goodness knows what other kinds of 'undesireables' on them. The reaction to this was not just behaviour but also GI and skin rash. They were using these at speech therapy, forgetting that i had requested they do not. Sometimes i prefer having strange behaviours that i can attribute to something other than the aliens must have taken my child! cindy,IBS, SCD 10 months brady, 5 ASD, CP, SCD 10 months
Guest guest
In addition to igestion or absorption, another possibility could be the scent itself making him act this way. I have a lot of chemical sensitivities, which made me feel horrendous if I am around perfumes and such.
