Ordering fish or chicken from restaurants

I'm so worried about ordering fish or chicken from restaurants. If the

chicken/fish is frozen, then does it seem more likely that there could be

some type of illegal in it (sugar/starch)? It would be so great if we could

all gather a list of restaurants that are easy to work with and have legal

items. :-)

Dina,

I order is steak or ground beef (hamburger) that I have spoken to a

manager about and I've seen the labels on...

I may sound a bit paranoid, but I just don't trust people to know

what's in the food they serve.

Texas Roadhouse has been very accomodating here where I live. They

cook unmarinated steaks in skillets-not on the grill- for my kids.

Steamed (freshly cut) veggies in a separate pan as well. Freshly made

salad with no cheese or croutons. They have always been very nice

about it.
