My husband is Irish as well. His parents emigrated to the US after they

were married and had their oldest son. My husband was born in the US so

he is an American. His family is from Port Glenone which is near

Belfast. We visited his aunt and cousins in Ireland back in 1996 (when

their was peace in Northern Ireland). I have a small amount of Irish

blood as well but really I would be considered a mutt as I am part

German, part Italian, part Irish, etc, etc. Anyway, I just thought I

would mention this since we were discussing Ireland.
