Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone had heard of this. My " friend " has a daughter who was born a Preemie and is now 1 1/2 years old. This baby has problems with RSV and has been getting the shots. Well when PJ was diagnosis with pseudomonas, I mentioned it to her. She called the nurses hotline and they said that there was a possiblity her daughter who does not have CF, could get this cause of being born a preemie. When I talked to the kid's cf doc he said that the only people who get PA are the ones with trachs, lung problems and CF. Basically there would be no way she's at risk. I feel bad because what if my ignorance on PJ's sickness has caused this baby to have this also? It's really hard to keep her from playing with him, and sharing toys. Anyone ever dealt with this? If so how seriouse is it for a normaly " healthy " child to develope this and be able to fight it off? SOrry to be a pain my minds running 100 mph right now. Jen. mom to 4, Yolo 2 1/2, Phynix 6 months all w/cf. _________________________________________________________________ Broadband? Dial-up?
