Guest guest Posted January 26, 2002 Report Share Posted January 26, 2002 Hi , The niacinamide (Vitamin B3) I bought was otc. I bought a bottle of 60 tablets of 250 mg. for about $6. I take one tablet per day. It seems to be helping with the redness and the swelling a bit. Also, it seems to help reduce the size of the few bumps I get. For example, I ate some peanuts and expected a few big bumps, but I got two small bumps that went away after a week. Nicomide, which is a px, contains 750 mg of nicotinamide (another non- flushing form of Vitamin B3), 500 mcg of folic acid and 25 mg of zinc. a T. posted a message a few days ago how this px has helped make her skin look pale, which is something that all of us deserve.
