Guest guest
None, if his spouse wasn't a carrier. If she is, then there is a 50/50 chance. Now all his childeren are guaranteed to be carriers. It's not an ignorant question. Ya never know unless you ask. Guest guest
If your child's spouse is NOT a carrier then their children could not have CF. They would be carriers, however. If your child's spouse is a carrier but does NOt have CF then they would have a 50% chance of having CF. Both parents have to have at least one " bad " gene in order for there to be a possibility that their children would have CF. Hope that helps! , Mom to Hannah 2 1/2 wcf and Tommy 5 wocf > Just a question > If someone had CF like my son and he grew up and had children with a non cf carrier what are the chances of having a CF baby???
