Guest guest
Probably about 85%, but there are still people with only one mutation found, but who clearly have cystic fibrosis on presentation, and there are clearly people who have it, as s Hopkins has found out, who have no known mutations and obviously have cystic fibrosis. No mu tations does not eliminate is as a likely diagnosis--just to make things really clear! Love to you and to your family, n Rojas
Guest guest
So, in other words... NOTHING is 100% diagnostic? Oh, what about the Nasal Pot.Difference test? Is that one any better for diagnosing? Boy, it's really frustrating, hugh? Thanks n, I figured it was to some percentage of unaccuracy. Actually, 85% of accuracy, leaves a lot of room (15%), for the atypical cases to fall through, doesn't it?
