Probably about 85%, but there are still people with only one mutation

found, but who clearly have cystic fibrosis on presentation, and there

are clearly people who have it, as s Hopkins has found out, who

have no known mutations and obviously have cystic fibrosis. No mu

tations does not eliminate is as a likely diagnosis--just to make things

really clear!

So, in other words... NOTHING is 100% diagnostic?

Oh, what about the Nasal Pot.Difference test? Is that one any better for

diagnosing?

Boy, it's really frustrating,hugh?

Thanks n, I figured it was to some percentage of unaccuracy. Actually, 85%

of accuracy, leaves a lot of room (15%), for the atypical cases to fall through,

doesn't it?
