Lorrie,

Thank You for keeping us posted on Jim's recovery. I am so happy

for your family. I have a small idea how Jim feels being able to eat

real food. I had a celiac block 6 days ago and have been able to eat

a little bit of roast and cheese (my favorite!!!) I know that my

pancreas still isn't doing it's job in digestion so I've been taking

extra enzymes when I eat.

I'll send you a couple of new recipies I've created since being ill.

Very rich and delicious. Wouldn't try them for a couple of months to

ensure his insulin level is good and that he's recovered.

Again, I am extremely happy for the both of you. I can't wait to be

in MN in less than a month.

Peace,

N'Awlins Gal-

especially like the part of your post, whem you said that he can now

eat and be pain-free. That part alone certainly makes the surgery

worthwhile. Tell Jim that your both are in my prayers for a fast and

speedy recovery.
