Guest guest
Hi everyone, We just got back from Caden's CT and blood work. The blood work was to check his immune system. I stayed with the tech while he done his CT and this guy was really nice. As he went through his measurements and so on, he was showing me all of the mucus and his POLYP! He kept reminding me that he was not a DR. Guess he is not allowed to read the scans. (legal stuff). The polyp looked fairly large. One side had a polyp and the other had alot of mucus. Not sure about everything as he didn't go into a great deal of detail as he was cautious as to what he said. Anyway, I am pretty nervous and can't wait for his allergist to get his report. I think I will go nuts till then. I want this all put to rest. I got the kit in from Ambry today. We go to his ped.'s office Friday. I am still waiting on GI reports and emailed his dr but haven't heard back. I know that his clogged up sinues doesn't mean that he has CF but it sure sounds bad to me. Is it common for people to have polyps in their sinus cavities without CF or allergies? Caden does not have any allergies. Seems like I remember reading that it is uncommon to people to have polyps without CF or allergies. What are they caused from if it's not allergies? Well, just wanted to keep you updated. Thanks for listening1 Krystena s mom to: Caden 4 yrs Glutaric Aciduria type II (testing for CF) 10 yrs (half sibling) -Diabetic Warren 7yrs- (half sibling) Not tested
