Guest guest
First off - I do not own stock in Ombrelle or have any other reasons for endorsing this product other than to try and help other rosaceans and try to further our understanding about this disease. I recently posted about my success with Ombrelle. After trying many other topical products (prescription and non-prescription), it is the only thing that keeps my skin cool and hydrated. I really believe it is the reason I have managed to keep my cea from progressing to the severe stage over the last ten years. I checked the archives to see if anyone else has had similar experiences. One person posted that her doctor recommended Ombrelle and that it keeps her skin soft. She attributes this to one of the main ingredients Parasol 1789. Further, another member answered my most recent post saying that Ombrelle keeps her skin soft. I also have a couple of friends who don't have rosacea who use it for the same reason. And many people in this group use L'oreal AirWear foundation, including myself, which surprise contains 2.0% Octyl Methoxcycinnamate one of the main ingredients in Ombrelle. . It would be great if more people would try it so we could acquire more feedback. The ingredients are: 2.5% Parsol 1789 (Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane), 5.5% Parsol MCX (Octyl Methoxycinnamate), 2.0% Parasol HS (Phenybenzymidazole Sulfonic Acid), 2.0% Parsol 5000 (4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor). FYI - I have extremely sensitive skin and can't tolerate most skincare products so this product should be well tolerated by most. But of course there are no guarantees as everyone's skin is different. For those trying for the first time do a test patch first.

I'm curious about the Octyl Methoxcycinnamate. Is that a chemical sunscreen? I was thinking of trying the L'oreal Airwear, but couldn't figure out whether this was an ingredient to be cautious about. I also can't find the link I had to cosmetic ingredients. So if anyone knows, can you let the group know. Thanks. MB . >
