I can’t remember who asked this but I thought I would share what we pack for

Kai at the beginning on in SCD:

-Hamburger or turkey burger patties (broiled), sometimes I will make them in

tiny meatballs, heart shapes, etc to make it more fun (depending on how old

your child is, lol)

-Chicken soup in thermos (recipe in BVC)

-Pear sauce in tupperware

-Jello squares sweetened with white grape or purple grape juice (welches)

-Chicken pancakes (with fruit sauce or veggies mixed in- ½ cup)

I am assuming that any fruit sauce would work, bananas, cooked veggies,

peanut butter muffins, egg crepe wraps (thin egg made into crepes filled

with grilled meats and SCD mayo) etc depending on where your child is in

SCD. Also if you have been doing SCD for a while, lettuce wraps with SCD

mayo and meat, homemade SCD “hummus” or baba ganush, etc. Take a look at

www.pecanbread.com http://www.pecanbread.com/> under food preparation for

food ideas (its under the stages chart) and then the recipe section as well.
