Hey ya'll,

I have two questions.

1) Has anyone experimented with a topical containing lipoic acid? I

read in a skin care book that this ingredient was very successful

with

rosacea sufferers, and effectively reduced erythema(redness) in the

patients.

2) Could there be any benefit to undergoing a new series of photoderm

treatments with a different doctor if the first series does not

provide

satisfactory results(5 treatments)?

Thanks,

(1) I'm guessing that the book you're referring to was Dr.

Perricone's? I take Alpha Lipoic acid as a supplement, but topically

I would think it would behave much like Vitamin C. That's just my

take on it. Like anything else, it might work for some and not for

others.

(2) Cosmecticcop.com recently published an article re: photoderm. In

her opinion (a Begeoun) if the first series didn't work and the Dr

was properly trained, getting a another series might not be helpful.

I think Matija (sp?) posted the article on the board.
