Doctor had me use topical steroids for seb derm, which made my then latent rosacea rage out of control. I can't seem to find anything that helps. I don't break out really, but I have some serious edema, spider veins and redness. I have trouble tolerating any topical meds--they either irritate my skin or cause dead skin cells to just pile up, requiring me to scrub my face to get it clean (which, of course, exacerbates the redness). I was on a low dose of accutane for awhile which made things MUCH better, but things have slowly gone down the tubes since then. Has anyone with easily-irritated skin had any success treating redness / edema? This is literally driving me CRAZY. Thanks in advance for any help you can give!
