Guest guest
Hi Sandy, > Is there a place I can find the illegal spices/seasonings? > Are things like nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, basil, etc. ok gotten > preground or dried? > Sandy M. BTVC pg 78 says , " Spices of all kinds may be used. Avoid mixtures such as " apple pie spices " and curry powder; buy spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg separately. Use fresh garlic and onions instead of garlic and onion powders which may have a starch base. " Commercial Spice mixtures such as curry powder, chili powder, cajun seasoning, garam masala etc..., are not legal. There are many recipes to make your own spice mixtures at home. The legal/illegal list at http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/legal/legal_illegal_a-c.htm lists some spices and if you are unsure about some just ask on the list.
