Thought I'd give you all an update on my auto islet cell transplant

that I had done in June. All my islet cells are happy and doing what

they are supposed to. I do not need insulin, I check my blood sugar

once a week. The pain is decreasing from the surgery. I can eat

most anything I want and not become nauseous or vomit! What a

concept! No more ERCP's every 3 months to clean out my ducts. Life

is pretty good without a nasty pancreas. I have since developed a

hernia which needs to be fixed but that's pretty small potatoes

compared to what I went through this summer. I think of all of you

people and the suffering you have to endure with CP and say a prayer

for you. Hang in there everyone. God Bless. Kathy Beck
