Guest guest
Dear Marjorie, I have been reading the rosacea support group for several months. You made a comment yesterday or the day. You wondered about thing you said being taken out of context or misunderstood. May I respectfully suggest that one way to remedy that is to respond directly to the sender of the message, rather than to the whole board. While there is certainly much information the helps the whole group, many things just get bogged down and misunderstood. I don't know what format you are reading the messages, but if it is on Yahoo Groups, responding to the sender of the message rather than the whole is easy. Respectfully, (name witheld) -=-=-==-=-=-=-= My concern about things being taken out of context or misunderstood was in reference to legal and ethical responsibilities that physicians accept when they communicate in medical support groups on the Web. Responding in email carries equal but different legal and ethical entanglements. Besides, I really don't have the time to do private conversations justice -- I hardly have time to write replies here, and this was a week I had lots of free time. I enjoy sharing what I know on the board as I read the various posts, and I hope what I post is helpful on some level to some people, just as some of what I read here is helpful to me. It's hard to say no to private or public requests for help and information, but regrettably I may have to start. Please understand.
