Guest guest
Hello Everyone-- I just had the most terrible run in with a nutrionist in a health food store, who refused to leave me alone as I tried to shop for my Ester-C and Niacinimide. (I thought I'd try it before purchasing NICOMIDE). I couldn't find the latter so I had to ask him. He was NOSY. What do you need it for? Are you sure you don't have Candida he said. Yeah I just need the Niacinimide. Long story short. He frowned when I said it acted as an anti-inflammatory/ healthier choice over anti-biotic. Told me that in fact he used 500mg three times a day of Niacinimide to treat people with poor circulation, arthristis, rheumatism and such. He said that it acts as a DILATOR of blood vessels, promoting Nitric Oxide Synthase and circulation. Are you sure you don't mean NIACIN? I said. Of course. I am talking about NIACINIMIDE, the same thing that is in Nicomide. I repeated. Yes, Nicotinimide, he said, also known as Niacinimide. Anyway, I ran out of the store. Confused. Does this make sense to anyone--can anyone clear this up? Thanks for all your help. MARIE ---------------------------------
