Hi Tammy,

It's good to hear from you. I am definitely sick of needles. I check my sugar

before and after anything goes in my mouth and follow that with an injection

of Humalog. Between blood sugar sticks and insulin that's about 16 pokes a

day. It's beyond ouch!

My question is:

My blood sugar is so unstable and my absorption is so unpredictable how did

your doctor ever determine what rate to set your insulin pump. Pancreatitis

Induced Diabetes is completely different from Type 1 or Type 2. I can't seem

to come to a conclusion regarding an insulin to carb ratio. What type of

insulin is in your pump?
