So do crackers, muffins and SCD bread and cookies which you will be making later. Hold off on the spices. The intro is for such a short time after all. The chicken soup recipe for the intro allows carrots and onions . See page 91 of BTVC edition 10. You can strain the soup, remove the fat after chilling the soup then puree the vegetables and return them to the soup. use a little saltt, but no pepper is in the recipe. Carol F.
