Pancakes and waffles freeze and travel well too. So do crackers, muffins and

SCD bread

and cookies which you will be making later.

Hold off on the spices. The intro is for such a short time after all. The

chicken soup recipe

for the intro allows carrots and onions . See page 91 of BTVC edition 10. You

can strain

the soup, remove the fat after chilling the soup then puree the vegetables and

return

them to the soup. use a little saltt, but no pepper is in the recipe.
