have not been online for the past week. It has been a hard time and

I would like to share, as condenced as possible, to those of you I

consider friends...Last Saturday Kerry and I had volunteered to play

for a benefit tea (4 hours of playing). This is always exhausting,

but rewarding as we are contributing to a worthwhile local charity.

Unfortunately, at 5:32 AM Sunday we received a call that Kerry's

father had a stroke. After spending several hours at the hospital it

was determined he had had a previous stroke two weeks ago. Thanks to

the PAI members suggestions throughout, I went online to find

information to explain what was going on (the hospital sent NO

INFORMATION when they released him). I made out a questionaire for

the pcp (which he copied for his files) - so I thank all you guys for

this. Then Monday the two partners had an annual meeting that

included deciding whether to continue the partnership or not.

Fortunately they were able to work out everything. Wednesday I

received the information my Uncle passed away, while his daughter was

undergoing a fourth surgery in regards to a colonostomy and

complications.

Sorry this got so long, but I must say I know mnay of you deal with

much more on a daily basis and I so admire your perservation

throughout your daily lives. Thanks for taking the time to

read...and may we all band together this holiday season and help each

other remember we have each other.
