Guest guest
Hi All, I had a CBC done the other day and my iron indicator came back low and my inflammation indicator came high. I would not have thought much about it normally, but my face is almost prefect right now. There is only a little amount of color on the apples of my cheeks. Is it normal to still have a high inflammation indicator. My primary has now ordered a bunch more tests. Thanks. Becky PS I got a compelment on my face today!! ;-} I was so happy I about passed out. I'm not letting it go to my head though, I know it's not here to stay.:-( _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com
Guest guest
Becky, there are several iron tests and several inflammation indicators. To make things really complicated, one of the inflammation indicators always goes up when iron is low from iron deficiency anemia, whether there's active inflammation or not. So it's impossible to comment without all the test results. But I really wouldn't worry about it. See what the next batch of tests show. The remissions and exacerbations that characterize rosacea are not mirrored by blood results, one way or the other. (cea may be associated with systemic disorders whose acute activity can be reflected in blood tests, but not in a cause-and-effect relationship with rosacea).
