Doxy and female yeast infection

I'd been on Doxyclycline 100 mg once a day for 13 days. The last

dose was taken Friday. I stopped because of a yeast infection,

despite my taking acidopihlus and eating plain yogurt with active

cultures. (NB: The Doxy was taken about 3 hours before and

after the yogurt and ANY supplements.)

In past, I'd done fairly well with acidopihlus while on Tetracycline

(though Tetracycline was much harder on my stomach than

Doxy). Maybe it's because I used to take Probiotics acidopihlus

and switched to a GNC brand -- after all, you never know what's

really in those capsules.

Anyway, I took a Diflucan 150 mg pill on Saturday and plan to

take another one. It's knocked out the yeast almost entirely!

Great. But my ocular rosacea has worsened without the Doxy.

I'm considering going back on the Doxy, but this time using the

Probiotics acidopihlus. Would the effects of the Diflucan last? Or

perhaps I should try Minocin this time? Obviously a yeast

infection is not something I want to risk, but the symptoms of the

ocular rosacea had improved quite a bit with the Doxy (not 100%,

but a lot), and now they're back!

Any women have experience with this?

Thanks
