Found out some exciting news

We found out that my sister who has been trying for a long time is pregnant

too. She has a condition were she was born with half a uterus and one tube so

she has a problem with getting pregnant and staying pregnant. But she also

told us tonight that there is a study at the University were they are

studying CF genes I am not sure what it is about but all I know is they will

test her for free to see if she does carry a CF gene. I am excited because

that way if she does carry a CF gene then I will find out which gene I carry.

But my sister in law (who thinks she knows everything) Is trying to tell me

that each generation there is a less chance of there being a CF gene. So what

she is trying to tell me is that it is really highly unlikely her kids will

carry the gene. Please someone give me some data on this so I can prove her

wrong. She really made me mad. She just really thinks there is know way her

kids could possibly have a CF gene. I just want to send her something to tell

her what the odds are that her kids could also be carriers. Deb A
