Guest guest
Hey!! I've got Steve now!!!! But I do appreciate your including me:-) I think revisions are very very rare and usually done if too much weight is lost. They reattach the new small tummy to the old tummy--I believe you still have restriction but not as much malabsorbtion. Revisions as I understand it are simpler surgeries than the original, less work I think and quicker. A revision to lose more weight I suppose would be to attach further down the GI tract. I would not worry about having to have that, I would think it would be extremely rare. " Don't worry, be happy " as Dr. R is frequently quoted. Guest guest
Dear Ladies and Bill, Does anyone know what causes one to need a revision? After so much planning and hoping, the thought of a revision for myself or any of us would be so heartbreaking. I have no idea what happens physiologically to necessitate this. Please do tell. I am going in on the 12th and I am more than curious. Thanks Susie Gordon ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET!
