Guest guest
Hi Shar, Is your child consuming other legal carbs? Any other food? If you have been on the intro for at least 3 days you can start adding in other foods. Since you are battling constipation please read the two important links at http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/ Go to the " Knowledge Base " and then to 1. " Constipation " and 2. " Constipation continued " As for how much *diluted* legal juice (half juice/half water) and homemade jello - it depends on the age weight of your child if they are eating other things etc. There is no straight one size fits all answer. You should try to balance the food with other legal options that you are ready to digest and other types of food, proteins etc. You can use the " Caloric Intake Kids Calculator " at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/pecanbread/links to determine how many legal carbs are needed /day Sheila > > I need to know how much juice is legal and also jello. Unfortunately his IGG showed a 1 sensitivity to all proteins but I am still giving hime the meats and nuts. but I feel guilty doing it. The only protein he is not sensitive to is eggs. I checked the kids calculator and he is getting enough calories. Thank you for your reply.
