It goes soft. When you can easily prick it with a fork it's done. Scrape out the squash and it comes out in strings, like spaghetti.
Guest guest
Carolyn, Very fast and easy: Cut Spaghetti Squash lengthwise, clean and wash out with water and sprinkle with a little salt. Lay one half face down in a bit of water on a plate and microwave for 9-10 mins. Repeat with second half. Can be refridged as is for a week or scraped into " noodles " and used, refridged or frozen. Enjoy CD, companion to 34yo, SCD 7 hugely successful mo -------------- Original message ----------------------

Guest guest
I find it easiest to bake whole (prick it w/afork first). Bake until you can pierce the skin easily w/a fork then cut & deseed. It's easier to cut when it's soft. It's yummy too! I like it w/butter. ~Terri > > > > I'm wondering how you make the spaghetti squash. Guest guest
I also cut my spaghetti squash in half, scoop out guts, lay cut side down in about an inch of water, and micro. for about 10 mins. One more tip, to make cutting the sqash in half easier, put whole squash in microwave for about 1-2 mins. then cut in half. > > Carolyn, > > Very fast and easy: > > Cut Spaghetti Squash lengthwise, clean and wash out with water and > sprinkle with a little salt.
