Guest guest Posted June 8, 2000 Report Share Posted June 8, 2000 Yes, I'm definitely planning to be there for the picnic on September 30. I just hope I lose some weight before then! I'm getting discouraged. The scales haven't moved in over a week, and I'm taking all my meds and supplements faithfully. Just started the Actigall and multi-vitamins Monday. My hubby made me a little check off chart to help keep me organized. It's hard to remember everything! I have a wedding to go to on July 1, and I was hoping I'd be down about 30 lbs. by then (5 weeks out), but it looks like I'll be wearing the same size tents I always wear. Oh well. I actually wrote to Dr. R asking if he was SURE he did the whole MGB on me! He said yes, I had the complete surgery. How come your tummy won't hold hardly anything, and mine never gets full? I don't push it, but I can sure eat a lot more than I had anticipated. It's still a lot less than before surgery, but more than I had hoped. I'm not craving any foods, and I'm eating really healthy, but I've done this before and not lost weight. I hope patient #600 doesn't turn into failure #1... Boo hoo...
