Guest guest
Hi Jerry: In the post I have been reading there seems to be something wrong with your mother. Please tell me what it is and put subject to Genny or it may be deleted. I just don't have the time to read all e-mails anymore. What ever it is I hope she's better. Take care and God bless. Guest guest
But your problems are my problems Jerry. Isn't that what we're here for? To lean on each other and bring us all closer to the Lord. Don't worry about me, after Friday went the surgeon tells me it's a go I will be fine. Please give your Mom my best and tell her she has to make 100 so hang in there. Take care and God bless. Love, Genny

Guest guest
My all means if Jodi needs the blood I gave she can have it but he wanted me to give one unit for myself. From what I have read a unit would be just a spit in the bucket for her. We have gotten about 80 units of replace blood in her account but the directed blood has been much harder to come by. She is down to 5 mg of Pred. now so I am very interested to see what her platelet count is. She hasn't been over 35,000 in over a year. If it has dropped lower I feel sure they will give her some before surgery. Thanks for the information, Genny
Guest guest
I was told that I went through incredible amounts of blood when I was Tx , but I don`t remember the figure... of course I was opened back up when they discovered a " bleeder " that they had to tie off ..... You guys will be just fine, my PT`s were pretty low as I remember..... I`m really excited for you My prayers as always.... I just wanted to tell anyone who still remembers me and/or cares that I'm still alive and smoking cigars and playing poker and ogling women...sigh....that's about all the energy I have...poor moi. I sincerely hope and pray that all is well with youse guys... I've missed talking to everyone... The group has changed but some of you are still here..keep on keeping on. Hey Harper, Joan, Genny, Beth and whoever is still around trying to educate the medical profession about this disease most of us share.. I'll try to post once in awhile Love and serenity to all of you.. Jerry Jerry, I'm SOOOOOOOO glad to hear from you! People often ask if anyone has talked to you. Me, I'm having a great time. I haven't taken up your hobbies of smoking cigars, playing poker, or ogling women yet. My respect for the Surgeon General's advice, my bank account, and my involvement with my husband have slowed me down in those three areas. My liver is doing well, and I've spent the summer in a new house up the coast, so I wake most mornings to fog and deer and quail outside my bedroom window. Please keep in touch. I miss you. Guest guest
Carole.... As one who has had NGs more times than I would ever want I sure would like to be on the giving end and as far as poking people....well I told you was a dirty old man.. I'm very sorry about your father.... my wife and mother of my children died at age 39 from alcohol and drug related cirrhosis. I can only wish that your father and my wife could've found their way out as I did..... God has extremely good to me and many times I feel as if my wife deserved His Grace more than I. Thanks for your kind words and suggestions I take them to heart... love jerry
