Guest guest
> Hi I posted an emarjency but I got a reply from a lady Rita. If the > real Dr. Marjorie Lazoff is reading this now, would you mind > reading my page. No Rita this time, this is the real Dr. Lazoff. Yes, that was my post about Toleraine and Noritate. I use Clinique's City Block, and I try to avoid wearing foundation. The city block is a good flesh-color for me. The study I posted gives you some information on topical antibiotics. It says that about half of the people treated for 12 weeks with topical antibiotics have a complete remission, and another quarter have marked improvement, though in that group it was papules/pustules more than their redness. So it's good but not great. What's nice about the topical antibiotics is their safety profile, so there's little downside in giving them a try. Nizoral is a popular anti-fungal drug that is also commonly used to treat seborrhea dermatitis. Perhaps your dermatologist wants to treat you for that condition before the rosacea? I'm sorry to hear that after 12 years you're still having such difficulty coping with your skin condition. When I have difficulty coping, sometimes I think of the 12-step program mantra, reworded: Change the things that can be changed, accept what can't be changed, and strive for the wisdom to know the difference.
