Regarding my response to Cutanix Dramatic Relief lotion. I have been

trying a sample now for over a week.

I'll be very brief because I'm short on time.

1. The cream has cleared up 95% of the eczema on my arm.

2. I have been using the cream on 1/2 my face and my nose.

3. I *have* noticed mild stinging for 1-2 minutes after application.

4. No noticable reduction in redness on my cheeks, but perhaps a mild

improvement in the inflammatory side of the disease on my nose

(pinkness reduced, less bumps?)

5. The cream is slightly too " oily " for my liking. I am used to the

Tolerin moisturiser which is more " wet " .

6. The cream is a bit smelly (as someone has said, " nutty " --

apparently this is the active ingredient), but nothing too bad.

7. No evidence yet of any irritation apart from upon initial

application.

People are beginning to report their experiences on the SebDerm

group. I've posted the links below. They seem to be doing well so

far.

Pilcher, the head of research from Cutanix has also posted a

message:

It seems that they have plans to formulate a base that is more

suitable for sensitive / rosacea skins. This is good news for us.

If you can get hold of samples, I think it is certainly worth trying,

particularly if you have seb-derm / eczema or extreme dryness in

conjunction with rosacea. If you are highly sensitive, try the

creams but be prepared that the base may not yet be ideal. If this

is the case, make sure Cutanix get the feedback.

Thanks again to Brain for sending out the samples! I think the level

of participation and the speed at which these have been sent out to

people has been superb.
